No hazards / no blinkers-flashers

Hello to everyone, My name is Kevin, and I'm new to this, but im learning. I have a 2001 mercury mountaineer that i put a 1999 ford explorer steering column in because someone tried to steal it. However after hooking everything up which did match, I do not have HAZARDS or FLASHERS/BLINKERS...I read all the post related, and Ive checked the fuses in slots 21 and 23, I swopped out the flasher box, (I think) the yellow box on the wiring harness under the steering will, and still nothing. If someone out there has time, and can help, PLEASE I BEG YOU? THANKS YOU GUYS IN ADVANCE. (off to work)

This may seem a bit strange, but i will answer my own question.
After changing fuses, flasher, mfs, my problem turned out to be the wiring harness that plugs into the mfs.....what was wrong with it? i dont know. I changed it out and waytogo KEVIN, everything works fine..I hope one day, when someone has this problem, they will read my post and be able to fix their problem...THANK YOU ALL...
