NO Heat

2004 explorer blower blows but barely gets warm had system flushed thinking maybe scale but made no change. don't hear tell tale clicking behind dash and does get ever so slightly warmer. removed hose from heat valve no change. Any ideas

Since the heater control valve was already bypassed, the next thing to check is the heater core to see if it's partially clogged. Both hoses have to be very hot. If one hose feels like it has no fluid, then it means that the heater core doesn't have fluid circulating through it. Check the thermostat to see if it's stuck in the open position.
