No Heat

06 Explorer won't blow heat. It clicks when the control knob is turned to heat. I pulled out the actuator to replace it but tested it first and it seems that the motor is turning with no problem and no clicking when it is removed. Anyone have any thoughts?

did you check the coolant heater core by-pass valve passenger side of engine just right and down from he throttle body... you can see it if you follow the lines from the core.... this opens and closes with vacuum so if it stays closed no coolant will enter the core
 






I would check for obstructions on the actual blend door itself.


Edit: or at least check that the door freely moves.
