back again hopefully for the time asking these technical question my question this time is i have no problem at acceleration at first but as i progress in speed it seems to want to bogg out like it isnt getting gas could there be something wrong with my fuel pump it seems to be working but could there not be enough pressure ,at first i thought i was having transmission problems but i came to the conclusion that the rpms should be going up instead of dropping as i accelerate could someone please help me with this weird situation thanks for any input!!!!!!!!!!

Your first guess is plausible. One of the two solinoids in your tranny could be defective and it is not too difficult to replace. Hope this helps.

I had a similar issue this past week I would get to 55 with no issues, THEN floored it did nothing and wouldnt go above 2200rpm. Now my truck is parked infront of my house with a no go situation, meaning it died on the highway in the left lane today, dies as soon as its put in gear. Im not saying this is your issue but it sounds strikingly similar to what was happening to me this past week. I hope it works out better for you though, Jon

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

hey sorry it took me so long to respond back to your input i had a rough night last night way to many beers i really am greatful for you guys to give me your suggestions on what you might think might be wrong ill get right to it and check the kickdown cable (how do i ajust this cable)?????(and where do i ajust it at)???? I am pretty sure its not the fuel filter i changed it about a month ago! and there might be a good chance that it could be the transmission filter because i have not been able to change this due to the previous owner who used so much tube a gasket i take out all the trans bolts which hold the pan and try to pry it off with screwdrivers, pry bars its like its welded in place i guess ill have to damage this pan to get it off (so theres always ( harrys u pull it here in pa cheap prices) so thanks for your help
