I recently installed a new after market radio head unit
in a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT
And now I have no lights on in my instrument cluster, taillights, A/C knobs, and lock and window buttons on my door handles are not illuminated at night?

I am thinking fuses, shorted wire, relay, or some electronic part failure?

anybody have any experience with this issue?

what process should I go through to narrow down what it could be?

Thanks Forum

used to be on old cars the dash lights stopped working when your tail light fuse was burned out. Not sure on these trucks. Best thing to do is study the wiring schematics and use a simple circuit test light to see where you have current.
