The lights on our Explorers, especially the bottom curve, so yield themselves to a good quality LED accent light as a DRL it's not even funny. Every day I look at the front of my X sitting outside my office window and just beg for some vendor to come up with a quality LED strip.

I've found a few online but it is obvious they are reselling the item coming out of Hong Kong that simply does not cut it. At night it would look sweet but for DRL, it does not have enough lumens to cut it.

I'm hoping someone might have found something out there. I don't have many wants and wishes for my X but this is definitely one of them.

Thanks for posting the link. I had seen those lights and his posts and were not overly thrilled with his results. He even said they were not quite what he wanted so I'm skeptic. Also, all of his shots are at night time so the LED's are going to look great. I'm hoping he can post a daytime picture.

He also alluded to the fact he felt the Plasma Glows were simply re-sells of the cheap and inexpensive Hong Kong strips, of which I have two myself and am not at all happy with the daytime results. At night, they look great!
