No power... period!

I recently replaced the battery, alternator and positive battery cable believing they were failing however I was fooled. The car has had a ton of cranking power since the parts were replaced (about 10 days ago) Last night when I went to start the car I turned the key and there was plenty of juice. The car did not start so I turned the key off then on again and it was as if the battery went dead instantaniously. No interior lights, doors locks radio, nothin'. These were the exact symtoms that led me to first replace the battery, then postive cable and now alternator. Does anyone have a clue as to what the heck is going on? Thanks.

check the negative cable see if its loose anywhere.May just be that

yea that happened to me alot with my truck i used to have. it would just randomly go dead. i had aftermarket studs on my sidemount screwpost batt. i had forgotten to put lok-tite on the studs, so they would peridocally back out and it would lose contact. it was so bad that when i finally removed the negative screwpost it was erroded because it had backed off so much that the current had to arch to find the gorund, and had worn it away. this only applies to a battery with those removeable posts i guess.hope that was some help..keep us posted man
