Ok so I’ve read a lot of post on here about this but nothing on my model year explorer And nothing that has helped past what I’ve already checked. 2007, v6, manual ac controls. What I’ve checked. Relay is good, jumped compressor it works, checked high pressure switch it’s good with proper signal voltage coming and going, checked low pressure switch, it reads good, Freon levels are perfect. Fuses are good. Also checked dash control module and can’t find any problems. At this point I’m pretty sure every thing down stream of the PCM is good unless I’m missing a sensor that needs to be checked. Im at the point that I know the pcm is sending 0 voltage to the low pressure switch and not engaging the relay and I can not figure out why. I feel like it’s getting to the electrical portion of the system that I know nothing anbout. Any help from yall that have experienced this problem would be great. Also does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 06-10 manual ac system?

Hope this come through, I'm a Ford technician so I can access Fords website but have issues sharing them at times. I've had PCM's cause issues like this before on this era of Explorers and since the PCM's are either not available through Ford or are to costly I've had owners just bypass the PCM control of the AC clutch and just use a separate switch and relay to control it. The only issues would be if you were to run into a high pressure situation, don't know if this year has a pressure relief valve or not.

The pcm was my concern. I just wasn’t sure if there was anything between the control head and the pcm that could be Interrupting the signal from the control head. I can actually buy a new PCM programmed to the cars vin with a lifetime warranty for around $400. I just want to make sure I cross all all possible causes prior to buying a new one. Thank you for the schematic

If I was doing the diag with the tools at my disposal I've verify the high side of the AC wasn't the cause, if the high side was in spec's I'd more than likely go with the PCM replacement.

Everything is good back to the pcm. High and low both check out good. Replaced both pressure switches just because they’re 18 years old. Ordered a new pcm last week so I’ll let yall know if that fixes it. Also apparently from what I’ve read there’s a combination of codes that throw when the pcm is faulty and the car has all of those codes currently.
