My 1999 EB Ford Explorer has two tail stoplights and the high mounted one. Recently the two rear stoplights stopped working. Here's what I've done:

- New bulbs
- Checked power to the sockets ---> NOPE
- Checked power to fuse socket ---> YES
- Replaced MFS ---> NO CHANGE (part was returnable thankfully)
- Replaced BOO switch on the brake pedal --> NO CHANGE

That's where I'm at!! Any help is appreciated.

Check the gound point in the rear and take a look and any trailer wiring hookup.

check the wiring / connectors for the trailer "stuff".... people have found that the connectors in that area affect the stop lights "badly".

I will do the above. Where is the ground point - I'm just not clear on that. Thanks.
