no reverse :(.. HELP PLZ!!!!

hey guys i have a 99 ford ranger 3.0 and i went on a 300 mile trip and when i got home my reverse didnt work. I also dont have engine bracking in manual 1st gear. PLEASSSSSE HEEEEELP

Welcome to this forum! It sounds like a problem with a broken rear one way sprag or the low/reverse band. Do you still have manual 1st gear?

yea i do have manual 1st.. what should i do should i drop the pan or the whole tranny or should i rebuild it all..?? PLZ help

First check the pan for broken pieces of metal from a rear sprag.
