no reverse on new tranny

Okay here is the deal i just bought a new rebuild from mikus in houston,tx and and did a tranny swap on my 2002 explorer 5r55w. I filled it to proper level (about 12 Qts.) . The problem i am having is a delayed reverse I have to rev up the engine to about 1500 rpm to engauge, but then the rear wheels cherp because of the high rev. The thing thats got me stumped is that all forward gears work beautifully, so i know its not fluid level. can any one give any suggestions to my problem thanks.

My opinion would be to tell Mikus that your bringing your Explorer to him to have him fix the new rebuild transmission which he sold you that is having a delayed reverse problem. This is not meant to be a smart ass answer but he should have a warranty for the transmission he sold you and you've already paid him for the new rebuild tranny, so let him fix it.
