No sound from speakers. new H.U.

Hey guys i just instaled a new headunit in my 94 XLT and im 99 percent sure i wired it in right. the head unit acts as if it is playing music from my ipod or the radio and nothing is coming out of my speakers. the only sound i have is when i turn my sub on with my headunit then it is just annoying thumping. can some one PLEASE help me out!!!

...first, did you use an adapter??? i have seen that some adapters are wrong even though they say they are for your yr/mk/model...:scratch:

Blue wire. Put power to it and it will work

yeah i did use an adapter. it had a main power plug in, an amp/speaker plug in (square one), and a amp bypass. now im not even sure if i have the amp in mine

...if you don't get the blue wire working, you will have no sound...it is the wire for the amp...
