No start and no power

Went to start my 91 XLT yesterday and it almost started and then there was a pop sound and now there's no power to the truck at all. I suspect the starter went out, battery voltage is fine, why would I have no voltage going to any accessories?

pop goes the cable

Battery cables will develop corrosion between the post and the cable clamp.. it will "Pop" much like a fuse.. thus no power to anything ...cleaning the post and the clamp will solve the problem

its a 91, i say replace all the cables.. they have 13 years on them!
