No start and no power to the fuel pump, help!

My god, I sure hope this isnt your primary vechile.

Gonna have to cut your losses and bring it to a mechanic, cheaper then throwing money at it now, lol

Theirs only a hand full of things at need to be checked.. I just want to know what the problem is, been following this post from day one

I don't think you actually are doing the test that I suggested.... checking for voltage is just one of the tests. You need to do the continuity test that I suggested otherwise to quote a "famous" friend of mine... "You have done nothing!". In addition, the continuity test will tell something about the condition of your pump without having to drop your tank and stuff.

IF you did the test that I suggested... what was the resistance reading???

Hey budwich, I didn't read your post until after I had done my last test. I will check the resistance tomorrow. Unfortunately not enough time in a day.

It is my dd or was. =] I've been borrowing my girlfriend's car and she may kill me soon. I may have to take it to a mechanic (talked to one today), although now it's like a vendetta. I agree the problem has to be close to pegged down and I will post whatever I eventually find.

Well, got any good updates to post??

Not yet, still no go. I bought a new car and will start working on the explorer again in a few weeks when work winds down. I haven't given up yet and now I have a car for commute and truck for fun. =]
