No Tail/Dash lights

Just syaing HI!. I just got a 94 ford explorer 4x4 and it was free and I love it. I want to take it off road and have fun but I need to replace a fuse i blew that makes the tail light s and the dash light not work. I found a thread close to it on google that led me here. I just need to know if anyone has a chiltons or hayes that has the layout of the fuses under the dash driver side, and knows what are what? hi to all and any ideas for building and exploreing an offroad explorer, good lift kit, good tires, good lights, hit me up k, let me know.!!!!!

Welcome to the site.. I guess punctuation & spelling isn't your strong point. Here is a fuse panel chart for the 1991-1994 models..

Thanks very much. I live on a computer all day here at work that spell checks for my automatically and it doesn't for this website. Sorry I suck lol. I fixed it I think...

thanks for the fuse chart... I dont have any of the original manuals for the truck. I love this truck any Suggestions on keeping it in good shape and moding it hit me up!!!!!

Fuse #4 controls the instrument cluster.. Try that one first.

god I feel dumb as crap when I look up and it says instrument panel jeez. In my defense I was only looking for dash lights lol.

Okay Now Im In Trouble

Heres the issue. When I pull the tab out to engage the headlights and tail lights 9 you know so i can drive in the dark.0 The head lights come on but not the tail lights or the instrument panel lights. I can't see how fast im going and people can't see me in front of them. I replaced every fuse on the above diagram just to play it safe and still no help. What could be causeing this. Is just sorta happened one day everything was fine. then it stopped working then one day it worked and then all the sudden nothing for good. Its a dumb problem to have but its a problem. any insight?

Start checking lights. See if you can find the fluke of a burnt out bulb somewhere. Is it still blowing fuses?

okay

i replaced everysingle fuse with all brand new ones from the store last night.... guess what fuse it was.. the one that controlled the licene plate lights.. it was broken and so the tail lights and the instrument panel didn't work. wierd... no everythihng is 100% i like when life throws you cheap fixes (knock on wood) i think it cost me 5 doallrs including the soda I bought at wal mart. oh and I got 12 monkeys on hd dvd for 497 tjhey marked it wrong lol. anyway thanks for the help. im thinking next pay check this ill donate the 20 dollars and become an elite. great site.
