Hello, I'm wondering if anyone knows what the culprit of the the whine that I am still hearing after I just replaced my EGR valve. It only happens at idle, and when it's happening the car idles rough, and almost idles off. I've seen places where it could be the EGR Vacum unit, but I'm not sure if that's the answer. I just replaced it on Sunday, I'm wondering if maybe I need to run a tank of gas through it to see if maybe there is some build up that needs to be burnt off. The noise is substantially softer, and not as frequent now that I've made the replacement. Just looking for some insight. Hoping it's nothing major, because that EGR valve was a ***** to replace until the pipe finally came un-seized.
