I'm having a noise from the driver's front wheel. Sounds like the wheel bearing is bad to me. I've had an alignment done and tires rotated(had some uneven wear on the inside of that particular tire). I also have a wierd rubbing sound that occurs when I go over bumps as well. I took a look in the wheel whells and I can see that the upper bushing(s) on each side need to be replaced as well. It's an 06XLT wit 108k miles on it. Any ideas or anything else I should look at? I tried rocking the truck from the outside, but that didn't help re-create the noise.

Thanks,

Sheldon

If it's the left front bearing you should really hear it when you make a right turn and it should quiet down during a left hand turn.

ok. I thought that also, but I haven't really noticed a difference in it. I'll take another listen tonight when I drive it again.

Couldn't really tell where it's coming from. Maybe it's the tires. I'll have to get the wife to drive while I ride shotgun one day.
