I'm getting a binding/vibration feeling on my 94 when making left turns. It's smooth & no noise when I turn right.
I did my front brakes this weekend, New everything except calipers(mine are in good shape)
New bearings both sides.
The RA bushings are good.
My ball joints seem to be good, little to no play with the wheels off the ground.
Just rebuillt my auto hubs & they are working fine.
Happens in 2WD & 4WD.
I checked under the X & nothing is binding or hitting anything.
Feel it in all gears & N.
Swaped tires front to back with no change.
Sway bar bushings look ok but could use replacing I'm sure.
At this point I'm thinking it's the steering pump, gear, or linkage.
Any other ideas?

Thanks

That's part of the steering linkage. They look ok.The noise/vibration is only when making left turns & holding the turn, like if I was going in a left hand circle, or left u turn.

Put your vehicle on jack stands in the front, and then turn the wheel. There should be no resistance from the tires touching the ground. If it still feels stiff, stop at the point where it stiffens up, and check all of your front end parts without moving the steering wheel out of position.

Didn't think about that. I had it up & rotated the wheels but didn't turn the wheels. I'll have to try that.

What do you know it was an alignment problem. Had it aligned & my steering wheel centered & the noise/vibration is gone.

If some parts were out of alignment, they were probably putting stress on whatever was a moving part. ExplorerDMB has an excellent thread called "Alignment 101" about this subject. Just look in his signature under useful threads.
