i would assume the f-150 ttb would be to wide. if its a newer gen ifs (97 and newer) it would be a huge amnt of fab to get it put in

well it being a D44 it has to be the TTB, if im not mistaken, when they did away with the TTB they put a version of the 8.8 in the front..
to run it full width you will have to fab up some new coil buckets to come out further off the frame than what the stock ones do..
also there is a way you can shorten it up by taking 3" out of each beam and then have a machine shop cut and re spline your axle shafts..
it you dont have a half decent amout of fab skills, you might want to find someone that does
you may want to consider doing a SAS (solid axle swap) if you plan on doing a ton of off roading, i've heard a few guys that did the swap complain about it not having enough flex.. i will be putting a full width D44 TTB in my project (when i get it) but mine will be a mud truck for the most part and not a lot of flex is required for the trails, shoot i may stick with just swaping in a D35.. idk yet

For a swap that's basically bolt-in, look for the D35 from a later Ranger or Explorer. Strengthwise it's right up there with the D44 if you throw a set of the Warn jeep hubs on it.

If it's the width you're after, then that F-150 stuff is the closest you'll get to "bolt-in" (and it's still not very close at that, as danger ranger 93 explained).
