Noob Lift Question

Hello everyone,
I am new here and I have a few questions about lifting my 98 EB. I have been reading a lot of threads on here, and I only want a mild lift, so I am thinking of doing the warrior shackles and AALs. If this is already posted in another thread I woud greatly appreciate someone posting the link for me.

Now to questions:
Do I need any other parts aside from the actual shackles and leaf springs?
Also, will this lift the front end of the truck or do I need TT for that as well?

Finally, if anyone could post links to where I can purchase these parts, that would be awesome. Thanks again

might wana check out the search feature. but ill point you in the right direction and then turn you loose to run wild. you will need to do a TT. and youll wana have some spare hardware on hand for the rear end in case something isnt reusable. the TT how to's on here are excelent and so are the rear end guides. as for purchase thats up to you. many guys on here will list the part numbers in their build threads. take the information they give you and look around at reviews and build threads to find what people like best and why. then the best way to find specific parts is to just google the part number. you find some great deals that way. so there you go brother. good luck. let us know how your build goes.

Ty couldn't have said it any better. Go to the modified section and you will see all the stickies with the how to's. There is not just one thread of how to's...but maybe 10+ lol. Seems everyone who does it also includes a write up..though most of our vehicles are the same, occasionally you run into situations that are not common and someone has most likely posted about it here. I suck with the search button but have managed to find all that i have needed within minutes of utilizing that tool. Also, welcome to the forum!!

A good tip for new members is to check the sticky sections of each forum. Also, Gen 2 explorers are very similar to 01-05 sport trac so a lot of the info for each apply to both. Search for "tt/shackle lift and trimming how to" that thread should give you most of the info you're looking for.

Thanks for the replies and the welcome everyone. I actually did use the search to find all the info I need, as soon as I get the tax return my truck will be a whole different beast. I'll be starting a registry after all of that
