Hi there and first off let me just say, awesome forum. I have read some very interesting stuff on here that will come in handy in the future I'm sure!Now down to business......I own a 2001 Explorer Sport with the 4.0. At 122k I recently had to replace the diff. gasket as it was leaking something fierce. Now that I have that taken care of, there were a few other things I was wanting to get some help with. First, I notice when she is is park or we are taking off real slow, she hesitates. Sometimes she almost sounds like she wants to die, but that has never happened. Possibly a fuel or spark plug problem? I know the plugs in it are the originals. Second, she rides ROUGH as hell. Now I know a compact SUV isnt gonna ride like a caddy, but its like i go over a small bump and it feels like i hit a 3 feet deep pothole! Possibly shocks or springs? I havent had the truck very long and the guy who had it before me put 225/70/16's on it when they are supposed 255/70/16's. They are also nitrogen filled. Last but not least, there seems to be a whining noise under the hood coming from the belts or pulleys i suspect. They only make the irregular noise while at very low speeds like less that 5 mph or when idling. well now that i have rambled on all my vehicular problems i hope there are enough of u fine enthusiasts who can help me out with all of you valuable input. thank you in advance!!!!
