Just got 2012 XLT a few days ago, still getting familiar with this car.

2 simple questions answer to which seems to be "no" but I'll ask anyways just to make sure. Car manual didn't even mention anything about it.

1. Can I disable interior lights from turning on when doors are open? Every car I've ever had had a simple on/door/off swtich that would let me do that but on XLT I only see "ON" button which controls every interior bulb and they all also light up EVERY time I open any of the doors. I'd really like to open my doors at night and no lights to turn on.

2. Can 2row sets be adjusted more then just "fold" ? Like an angle of back tilt or move the bottoms to the front or rear?? Again simple feature every car has yet I can't find any button/strings/knobs that would make it happen.

Yes you can adjust the seat back angles when folding them up just pull up on the handle and adjust to your liking then release the handle. I can do it on my '13 XLT It should work on yours.

According to my 2011 Limited, the answer to the 1st questions is NO and the 2nd is YES.

Doing a 'Search' on "interior lights" brought up this thread;

This is the first vehicle I can recall having that does not allow you to turn off all interior lights and no one seems to know why.

On my 2011 Limited the 2nd row seat backs can be pushed back to provide more of a 'laid back' position. Lifting the handle on the side of the seat allows it to fold completely forward but also allows you to push the top of the seat back towards the rear to provide more of a recline.
