Well what kind nos kit are you looking to run ie. wet or dry? I got most of my nos stuff from summit racing and they had very good prices.

Yes, if you're ordering NOS brand I'd use Summit or Jegs.

what is better...wet or dry?

On the Explorers I feel a dry system with a chip burned for a certain shot is the easiest way to do it since it is a returnless fuel system.

A wet kit is better because you can actually increase/decrease the amount of fuel you need to compensate for the n2o.

On the OHV you don't want to do more than a 75 shot anyways. I would do a dry shot with a custom chip to add fuel.

I have nothing against dry kits but love my wet kit to death. The extra safety measure of added fuel has saved me a couple of times.

Edit: Ooops. I'm not running the kit on the Explorer though.

i'm not well educated on the subject of nos. what's the difference between dry and wet kits. i know that wet is better.... but why?

yeah i have no idea on this stuff too.

Just for the sake of argument:

I do not think a wet kit is always better. Modern fuel injected vehicles are not designed to flow fuel through the intake tracts and manifolds. The fuel added by a wet system can harm many components.

This is why I recommend a modest dry shot with computer mods for the Explorer (at least V6s).

BTW, NOS is a brand, Nitrous Oxide Systems. The correct abbreviation for nitrous oxide in general is N2O (like H2O for water).

nos is like asking for a klenex..its a brand of tissue..but everyone still says can i have a kleenex..so people calling every kit NOS or when refering to n2o calling it NOS doesnt bother me atleased its close

what does bother me thought is when people call the spoiler on the back of a car/truck a wing...sigh( spoiler u know that oppsite of a wing..does NOT provide lift..) my little rant i was just reading a thread in another forum where everyone that suposidly knows things goes and they are all calling everything wings....!!!
