2013 explorer sport
Hello everyone, long time owner and lurker but this has me stumped. 2013 explorer sport all stock, 67k miles orig owner. rear camera finally went out and i replace it, ran the calibration and all worked great except the guidelines reset back to incorrect after an on/off cycle. One thing i did need to do is counter steer into the error of the parking guidelines when running the calibration. 1st procedure used, parked level, power on, connect forscan, run calibration, calibration successful. start vehicle lines good to go. test drive random back up event all good. power off vehicle, restart vehicle guide curves no longer calibrated.....

did a battery reset, disconnected for 10 min. same results

Welcome to the Forum.
I'm not familiar with what 'calibration' entails but I have read many posts that say that the camera, when replaced, must be programmed to the vehicle by the dealership. I believe it can also be done using FORScan.

Yes thats what i found also, im using forscan and it calibrates but once exit the vehicle and then do a restart its back to its uncalibrated staye so the calibration did not stick
