I am an absoulte chevy hater!!!, but I think the SS/r's look awsome. Yes they are under powered, and 45k is a little expensive, but I wouldn't mind having one to cruise around in. they aren't meant to be used as trucks, that would be stupid. I actually got to drive one, while I was at work. Pushing carts (yeah, it sucks but it pays $8 an hour and they let me work pretty much whenever I can, for most of the school year I was only working one weekend a month, and that was nice) anyway, one of the other cart guys and I were looking at a yellow one in the parking lot, and the owner came up to us, and we started asking him some questions about it while he was loading his groceries up, and he said we seemed like we knew what we were talking about, and that he would let us drive it around the block if we wouldn't get in any trouble with the managers. So I took my "break" first, and got to drive it up and down the street for a few minutes, and it I thought it rode pretty well, a lot better than my 91 explorer. He even let me get on it a little, it was no cobra, or anything but it had some punch. And I liked the plainness of it, everything was really simple. It sucked having to get out of it though, I wanted to keep driving it. My friend felt pretty much the same way, except he was a little more critical of the lack of power. (he drives a 97 mustang cobra). So I guess what i'm saying is I like them for what they are, not a sports car.
