Yeah I guess I shamelessly unaware of a 2wd abilities. Come to think of it, I did see one on the beach in Delaware this summer surf fishing. From what I remember, the guy who owned it had a set of 35" on a 1st generation 2wd explorer. To tell you the truth, I was really surprised he was able to get out of the and dunes with his truck. All in all, I think bobdreadknot's rig is nice, hell it looks like he invested some serious money & time into it.

Yeah I orginally meant to say bobdreadknot.. That 1st gen I saw earlier this summer was nice. This guy had 35", pre-runner bumper with winch, more lights than I've ever seen on an X, and not to mention a nice paint job. Looked custom.. Does anyone remember back in 1996 when Ford starting painting the Mustang Cobra's with this paint that would change colors depending on the direction you were looking at it from? Well that's the kind of paint it had on it.

thanks yall

i appriciate the comments that jason and the others have given about the dress thing. i have gottne used to the comments about my clothes but i have honostly never had anyone stick up for me about and i would just like to show my grattitude about it, by saving the world as a bad a$$ marine. ill fight for this country with my life if it needs it to keep yall wheeling. and me of course...

and isnt that chammilion paint or how ever you spell it
;)

Ehh, you can do lots in a 2WD, just slap a locker in that baby, and come to CO, you'll have a blast. Then I like to see all the jeepers faces when you said you did it all in 2WD. lol

bobdreadknot, welcome to the 2wd world. i love my 2wd altough it is not as capable as the 4wds. i went to wheel with the 4x4 and it was all fun. only trouble that i have was going up the steep hill at the end of the trails...cannot get out. other then that.. i am all good.

that was from my last run with the gang. we went to gilmer. it was cool. hope we can get together and hang sometime.
and btw, guys, keep the negative comments to yourself. we are all here to gain info and wheel. just beause we cannot go places that 4wd can go, we still have every right to wheel to our best ability.

we should have a 2wd group run. how about it, hguys?

Sounds good to me. A Texas 2WD run!

we can all meet in the middle of texas since we arnt quite neibors, hehehe;)

alright...anyone knows anywhere in middle of texas that is legal? like....barnswell in east texas. there, u pay $15 and u wheel til u or your truck dies.

i just got some new pic of the inside of my truck that and my skull lighting up. looks pretty sweet if you ask me. yalkl should check them out. the NOS switches are the best thing ever. they control my lights.

with a 2 wheel you just gotta keep it floored!

yah.. but u dont want to overheat or break anthing if u keep flooring it.. especially going up hill with big fat sharp rocks. lets make this happen... 2wd or 4wd... but more 2wd..the better... lets seee how many of us are out there.
btw, rockwall is not that far from arlington, bob.

Have any trouble with the maglight falling and knocking you out? seems like a good place to mount it, I'd just be afraid of it falling off of there
