Alas, the time has come for me to retire the Ex. She was good over the 6 years or so that I owned her. Never left me stranded (well,.. not anywhere too bad). I planned on keeping her for emergency in the winters and buying a little 4cyl. to travel the 80 miles or so of my daily commute the rest of the year (well,...only if I couldn't take the bike.) I had just replaced some brake lines and rotors and was readying her for inspection when her clutch slave cylinder gave way again...and I took it as a sign. It is an act of mercy to allow her to pass on with dignity. I will fondly remember all the fun we had especially in the snow. She always liked the snow.
She is survived by next of kin Audi A6 quattro. We wish to thank all of you for the immeasurable help over the years and we will never forget this forum and the wonderful people here.
