Myself and a couple jeeps at Clayton, OK. This is by far the best place I have wheeled within a 3 hour drive of Dallas, TX.

How are the camping sites in the area?

It looks to be about 5 1/2 hrs from me, which is doable.

Clayton is really made up of lots of Motels. There are a couple of the motels that allow you to camp out back. The motels are cheap, and are 1/4 mile from the trail heads in most cases.
