o/d lite on

I have a 2004 explorer, after driving for about 5 min. the o/d light comes on, and it won't shift into o/d, I'm thinking the solenoid pack, could it be anything else? thanks Terry

Welcome to this forum! Could you add this vehicle to your profile? You have to find out what the code numbers are that make the overdrive light flash.

Thank you, its not flashing it just stays on. but I will check for a code.
