A bit confused is the only difference between a hand held scanner and a USB cable and software just that
One is all in the hand held unit the other displays via the usb on a notebook computer ?
Also is the "USB Notebook connection types" only as good as the software ie are all the interfaces similar but the software makes the difference
I am looking at the best value for money to read transmission codes on Ex 1998
The dealer and Auto places want from $120- 200 to read the codes for me and i can get a Maxidiag US703 for $249.00 here in Australia, but wondering if there is a USB software option that i can use.
Love to hear your feedback
Cheers
