OD, drive, and 1st dont work?

i went harsh on my transmission today off-road. the "over/drive off" light was flashing at first and then stopped, and then the overdrive and drive and first gear dont work at all (like neutral) i can only drive in 2nd and reverse. does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong?

thanks, sorry about that, i accidently clicked new thread in that section and i couldnt figure out how to get rid of it. but you prob figure that out

Sounds like your Tranny is toast, but start simple...

Did you check your fluid level?? You may have overheated the tranny and puked your fluid.

Check underneath and make sure you didn't knock any plugs/connectors off while offroading.

Try disconnecting the battery to reset the computer, see if that has any effect, since shifting is computer controlled.

sounds like you toasted you foreward band and probobly a 4th clutch seal, if that makes any sence, u gonna have to take it all apart, sorry ! but do check the fluid and all the connectors underneith, if you do need fluid and a rebuild is not needed i suggest a fresh fluid and a new filter
