Well.....found an installer to install the Head unit, sub, and amp for $80. For that money I turned him loose....at that amount it is not worth sweating over. I had the Pioneer 3300BT installed and love it. The head unit has great control/filtering and so many features. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a double din. Started with a JBL 8" sub with enclosure and a Rockford Fosgate Prime R-250 x1 mono amp, but did not like the sound. I upgraded both amp and sub to a Rockford Fosgate Punch 300 x1 mono amp and a Rockford Fosgate P2 8" sub. Sounds great....I have not changed out the factory speakers yet, but they perform surprisingly well. I plan on going with Boston Acustic plates in the front and 5x7 component in the rear doors later.

Sub Woofer popping when turning on ignition

I just installed a Pioneer AVH-p4300DVD and I'm getting a popping sound when I turn on the car and/or stereo. Have an '07 with the factory subwoofer, no steering wheel controls. Replaced the 6 disc stereo.
I used the Scosch FDK11B harness, and connected the 2 blue/white wires from the scosche and the blue wire on the 24 pin scosche harness sub harness to the blue wire from the head unit harness. Do I need to have it connected to the blue wire on the 24 pin scosche harness? Also, am using a connector cap for this instead of soldering or butt splice.
Any thoughts/suggestions?

Can someone also email me the instructions for head removal?

1. open console lid 2 screws will be holding the cupholder
2. after removal of screws you can remove the cupholder
3. You should be able to pop off the radio bezel no screws attach to it
4. there should be 4 screws holding your radio into place and thats all

Does anyone know if it is ok to remove the wire to the passenger airbag light without any issues?

Thank You

Airbag may explode at some point with static discharge, and airbag light should be permanently lit in dash possibly disabling the airbag system due to fault, so no.

Thank you for the response and I should clarify. I want to disconnect the air bag light long enough to swap out my radio and then reconnect the air bag light back to stock.

Oh, I misread, yes you can dsiconnect that without issue, just an indicator to let you know if the airbag is disabled (depending on weight on seat).
If you want you can just rotate the cover out of the way also.
