I'm on the long list of folks that needs to replace my IAC. Does it make a difference if I use an aftermarket IAC or should I stick with OEM? I'm not really finding much on the search front.

Thanks in advance....

Like with most everything aftermarkets are cheaper. I replaced mine a couple weeks ago with an aftermarket one. So far so good.

That's the OHV IAC it's different from the SOHC IAC.

From what I've been reading, the IAC changed often in the SOHC. Mine looks different than some of the photos I've been seeing. I managed to find a stealership in town that has an OEM one in stock. Not the greatest price, but it saves me having to call all over town for one and I'm going to be near the dealership anyhow this afternoon.

Thanks everyone for the input.

EDIT: Suprisingly, the aftermarket quotes I've been getting so far cost as much as OEM. Typical Canadian car part pricing!
