Oil change light keeps coming on at odd times and is not in sinc with my 3000 mile oil change. Keep having to go back to dealer and its good for a while. How do you set computer to regulate when the light should come on.???

Jim, you have to set the oil life index. The factory default is set to 100% which equates to every 5000 miles. Depending on how often you change your oil is how you set it. I change my oil every 3000 miles so my index is set to 60%. If you change it at 4000 set it to 80%, or every 2000 miles set the index to 40%. the owners manual details how to set this.
