I skunked the oil with fuel the other day, I accidently flooded it when I had my no start situation. Today I did an oil change, and I really took the time to make sure I got nearly every drop I possibly could out of it before adding the new oil. I do not smell any fuel in the new oil.
My question is, will it be ok now, or should I change the oil again to be sure it's not contaminated anymore?
BTW...Lucas rocks! I added 5W-30 and a quart of Lucas (with a Motorcraft filter of course) and I swear she never ran this quiet, ever. I can actually feel a difference in the throttle response, much tighter and solid sounding. And...what I thought and may still be the "Death Rattle" has completely disappeared. The Lucas may just be a band-aid for the rattle, but I will definitely sleep better for the time being. I have used Lucas before, but I never had these results with it.
