Oil Filter problem?

I was recently looking through my maintenance records and since about 60,000 miles, every oil change receipt says oil filter slight leak. This is at quaker state, and now Jiffy Lube. What kind of Filter does Jiffy Lube run? What would cause an oil filter to leak?

It is not uncommon for there to be a slight leak at the oil filter. This happens on almost every vehicle I have ever seen. All it is is oil seeping past the seal between the filter and the block. There is nothing to worry about (as long as it is only a very small amount) and the only reason the shop notes it on your recipt is to cover themselves in case someone tries to blame them for the "leak".
