i recently changed my oil. went from mobil 1 synth w/ mobile 1 filter to penzoil synth(on sale) w/ a motorcraft FL1A oil filter. the filter rubs the tranny lines. ive used these filters in the past w/ my explorer and never "noticed" a rubbing problem. for now i cut a piece if 1/2 hose and slid it over the tranny line w/ a hose clamp. has anyone else had issues w/ this? 98 sport, sohc,4x4 134,000 and running strong.
