Oil in the intake Help!

Compression ratio 8.5:1

Atmospheric Pressure in Fort Walton Beach Florida = 14.7 psi

8.5 x 14.7 = 124.95 psi (not taking temp rise into consideration).

Nice, well at least one of my cylinders is reading about where it should be lol. I know it's kind of wishful thinking, but I'm going to start running engine restore, so I'll see if it makes any improvement. I'm wondering though if it would be worth it to see if I could find someone that would replace the rings and if need be hone the cylinders. Other wise it looks like I'll be looking for a crate rebuilt one in the future.

Well at least pull the valve covers off and see what you see.

Kinda hard though being my only vehicle at the moment. The X wife took the bike with her :thumbdwn:. I do think I'm going to pick up some 30w and make sure it is the rings and not the gaskets, but with that many variations in pressure I doubt it could be anything else.

not true, if your valve springs or seats are bad it will leak pressure during compression. But to tell you the truth it might be both. any competent machine shop should be able to handle a ford small block with ease. But you can do most of it your self besides honing you're only limited by the tools and knowledge you have.
if you got another vehichle this is prime time to build a good power plant for your truck :) maybe the only good thing out of this

I just realized that the 5.0 is 9:1 so continuing with your equation 9 x 14.7 = 132.3, but I also realized that I didn't check with the throttle open, so I'll do that along with a tblspoon of 50w (book said to so lol) to double check myself.
