So I got a pretty decent oil leak issue going on. First off I noticed the motor smoking. The smoke is coming from the oil hitting the exhaust header. The leak is coming from the driver side of the motor. The best place to see it is behind the driver side tire above the exhaust header. I believe it's the valve cover gasket but could it be something else. It's coming out pretty good. Like is there a oil pressure switch back there? Any thoughts anyone?

+2 on the PCV Valve, common place for oil leaks, very easy fix.

I'll look into that. Rather it be that then the valve cover gasket.

Wow, literally exact same issue

Any updates on this? Having the exact same issue. Gonna check mine Sunday on my day off.

Oil Leak

On my '02, it was the valve cover gaskets, both sides leaking. Bear to change out, not technically difficult, just lots of stuff to remove.
Do yourself a favor and get some water hose clamp removal tools. You'll be glad you did.
