Oil leak of some sort

I noticed some oil dripping on my garage floor recently and after getting under the truck and taking a look at it it seems to be coming for or around the lower oil pan. It seems that there is a gasket of some sort there on the lower part of the oil pan that it could be coming from but I can't pin point that. Ill post pictures soon but until then does anybody has any ideas?

If the oil is coming from the back of the oil pan, next to the transmission, it sounds to me that you have a rear main seal oil leak. I have owned Fords for over 35 years and it is pretty common. It is a real PITA to fix as you have to remove the transmission.

You mentioned the leaking fluid is dark green and oily in the "other" forum. Only possible fluids are green
coolant or A/C leak test dye. BTW, recommended coolant for your '04 ST is Motorcraft Gold or Zerex G-05.
