Oil leak question

I changed the oil in my ex yesterday. For the first time I used Mobil 5000 (not a synthetic) 5/30 weight. It never leaked oil before but now it is dripping about three drops or so after I run it. Yes the filter is tight and so is the drain plug. Never used this oil before, might it be too thin and maybe acting like a synthetic that could cause oil leaks ?

Could be possible but I've never seen a old 4.0L that didn't leak oil. Usually everyone leaks from lower intake, valve cover gaskets and rear main seal.

Did you install a new crush washer on the oil drain plug?
