I finally finished fixing my engine oil leak after a year, and noticed a small bit of oil leaking out my front diff where it connects to the driveshaft and running down. I'm inexpereinced with this stuff, so I was wondering if there's anything I can tighten down to fix the problem, or if it's because of a faulty seal.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oil seals go after a while. Pull off the driveshaft, and the part on the differential where the U joint connects to. It has a big nut in the center. You will have to use a 1/2" drive breaker bar to get it loose. Pry off the seal, and tap a new one on.

A good impact air gun might work too, gotta slide the yoke off too, which might be hard, try tapping with a hammer, not too hard tho`. if that fails you need a puller/slide hammer tool. The seal will pry out with a screwdriver with some persuasion with a hammer
-and it`s nice to have a small section of tube that will fit inside the seal to hammer the new one on. -You`ll know what that means when you see the seal..
It is not made of strong metal and trying to just hammer it on any other way will bend it for sure.

Thank you gentlemen. I'll see what I can do.
