Hey guys, i own a 2002 ST and recently i noticed a little oil on my driveway. After further inspection i noticed a ton of oil leaking from somewhere in the front differential area. I am not entirely sure if it came from the front diff, but it the bottom of it is covered in oil. A few years back my dad(who owned the truck befoe me ) had the front diff rebuilt.

Does anyone have any ideas on where i should be looking ? and is it possible for the diff to maybe crack open or a bolt fell of to cause the leak?

Im not exactly an expert so if anyone could help thatd be excellent, and if you need any more information just let me know.
Thanks

Axle vent is plugged? Or the silicon gasket on the differential housing failed or both

The pinion yoke that connected the front driveshaft to the front diff pinion is casted steel and tends to "sand" the seal down I replaced my seal twice now cause the rough surface of the yoke. Only reason I replace seals is cause I am working towards a dana 44 front and rear swap
