I want to get the most out of the 5.0 but protect it the best.
I'm about to need a oil change and i'm sure the rear end needs a change too. so lets break it down and figure out what everyone runs to get a good idea of what the best can be.

What weight of oil does everyone run?
Any one run heavier mix for moded engines?
What brand?
What filter?
How bout your gear lube?

Use some form of bypass filtration.

Why not add what OCI are folks using?

has anyone cut a Fram filter in half? if you havnt you should. I have always had good luck from Purolator PureOne filters and Valvoline MaxLife or SynPower. Ive been wanting to change my diff fluid, think I may go with SynPower on that too. Working in the auto parts industry you see and hear alot of filter horror stories, Fram tops the list. IMO.
