Ok About to buy some Roller Rockers 1.7s

Iam at the summitracing page and Iam about to purchase a few items..

I would like to know if these rockers will fit on my 99 5.0 Mounty.

Crane Energizer Pedestal 1.7 ratio 5/16 in. stud -----CRN-44746-16

Iam also Gonna add these Valve covers since I got to take the Old ones off

And A 1/2" intake spacer to get the valve covers to clear

You need ped mount rockers.

thats what the specs on them are so i take it they are pedestal mount?

Oops. I saw stud and got all excited. I think Rocket5979 ran these in his old 5.0L. You might want to check out his build thread on it.

I believe I read that if you're going to run 1.7s you'll need to swap in a higher stall TC too.

I have the FMS 1.6 in mine and am more than happy with them. I guess it all depends on how fast you want to go and how much you want to spend to get there.

Ya I do want the FAST, its okay For the trans thats in there now.
cause Im saving for a DSS 331 and Im gonna put in a T5 Manual this summer.

Before you drop the coin on the DSS motor..I'd check out T & L engines...
