old sub and new sub question

hey, 2 questions here..... FIRST: i was just wondering if anybody knows how many watts the stock sub is cause it gives a good kicken, but id still like to replace it (if it makes a diff. i have the premium sound package) SECOND:i'd also like to know, cause i plan on adding a box, wat is the simpliest way to do so, would it be ok to splice the wires after the stock sub amp or maybe even before it or sum other way?....

Under "Power Ratings" you'll find that the stock amp for the woofer is 85w.
If you are planning to add a new box/woofer/amp, I'd reccommend new wiring, especially if you are going to use a considerable amount of power. I don't think it would be a good idea to run, say, 200+watts through the stock wiring.
Wiring in a new amp is not very hard. Only took me about 30 minutes to run power, ground, and RCA's to the amp.
