i've been trying to search the site for the answers to my questions, and i haven't really been finding much for an answer. so i'm going to ask them here and hope someone can help out.
1.) If I get a late 70's/early 80's 4WD F250, can i use the non-EFI 351/390 in my '91 Explorer? I'd also use the F250 transmission, transfer case, and maybe even the axles
2.) How should I make the speedometer work without the 1354 transfer case?
3.) With 33-35" tall tires, v8 power, and solid axles, will the frame be strong enough? or should it be boxed?
4.) How wide will my explorer really be with F250 axles?!
I understand that it's probably a lot of money and labor to do this, but my Explorer already has a cracked block and needs the motor pulled anyways. I'm not going to put a bunch of work into putting a stock 4.0 back into it. So... anyone have any ideas as to how I can make this work?
