Before I go and get my 31' I have probably a stupid ? for you all .
I know my 235/15/75 are 28.8 ' By going with the 31' which is a 2.2 ' difference then stock.
will that make the truck taller those 2 inches? I already have the TT and shackles and got almost 2 ' all around.

Nope it will make your truck taller by 1.1 inches. It will also increase your ground clearance by 1.1 inches.

Yup, since tire sizes are overall diameters, you lift the truck half the amount of the difference. Tires are the only thing that truly increase ground clearance. Lifts give you the room to fit those tires, and also raise parts out of harm's way.

Plus most 31" tires are only 30.5"
