I am about to purchace new wheels. The sizes are 18x9 up fornt and 18x10.5 in the back. I am going to use a 255/55r18 up front. What tire would I want for the back (needs to be the same height I'm AWD)?

Thanks guys

Ok 285/55r18 is a 29.2x11.2 tire. Thats an outer diameter differance of .2 now I have 10.5 inch wide wheels..... do I need a wider tire than a 11.2? Any other suggestions?

A 285/50/18 will be a perfect match for the 255/55 up front. Width wise it will be perfect on those wheels. expo5.0 has that exact same wheel/tire size on his with Nitto tires.

Those would look sweet, Boomin.

Any concerns with excessive weight with 18x10.5 with 285/50? Isn't the 10.5" width too wide for 285/50 that it would rub the wheel on the side walk?

Thats what i was kinda wondering too.... Expo has those size tires on his 18x10's so does an extra half inch make a differance?

The inside sidewall on the rear tires will rub on the inner fenderwell. You can beat it in with a shop hammer. This is what i (and expo) did. How much will depend on what backspacing your 10.5's have vs. what backspacing expo's 10's had...
