I have a 2001 Ex Sport Trac, the left rear turn signal has quit working. The left brake light and emergency flasher also does not work. I have checked all the fuses. Where should I look next? All the other lights work ok.

Nope did that first. Then double checked with a volt meter and the bulb I removed is ok.

Ok Thanks. Will do that Tuesday

if no power, pull the clamshell off the steering column and look for pins pulling out of the multifunction switch....

It has been noted that the multfunction switch (turn signal stalk) will cause problems elsewhere in the wiring. There is also problems with the trailer light harness causing light out conditions.
Could be a broken wire.....

I've had to repair two other vehicles with very similar problems, in my case what happened was the previous owners cut and spliced in the trailer wiring so then over time the wires got corroded or whatever and the lights quit working. so I had to cut the splice out of the system and good as new, on the second vehicle its about bad ground. Anytime I go over a large bump the tail light will rattle the screw and will pull it out a little ending in a bad connection, resulting in little to no light output.
